Di started singing professionally with a folk trio called Ornberg, Wessels & Riley and from there became the lead vocalist for a Heart Tribute band called Beggar's Velvet. They toured the Chicago club scene and had a great time playing the big clubs and festivals in the Midwest. In 1986 Stack & Di did a solo release called Chronyc Vyrtue - For Better or Worse.

Although rock has always been her first love, in 2006 when ODU.FM decided to branch off into the EDM world with a show called Tranceparency, she had the honor of meeting her good friend Robert Vadney. Robert became ODU's first resident Dj resident. Robert asked if she wanted to sing a track with him? She was reluctant at first, given the fact that her vocal chords had been on a hiatus for 10 years, but with a little coercing, World On Mute was born and the rest is history. It became a launching pad for an entirely new love and a genre that she had known little about before that.

From there she was introduced to Oliver Carr, Victor Orange, and became friends with Ahmet Atasever, Mixed Spirit, Angel Ace, and many others too numerous to mention. Her world of music expanded in a very short amount of time and is now her favorite way to spend every free moment. Now she is producing  music as well and along with her partner Blufeld they have created a new persona together called "Overflow", which will be releasing their first full album together called "True Feelings" on Elliptical Recordings.

The facets of Di's life are endless, Dj, Voclaist, Producer,  co-owner of Andromeda & Elliptical Recordings, two established record labels, and  ODU.FM... Along with web designer, Admin and all the other hats she wears, its amazing she has time for her loved ones... but she will always make time for those she loves. :)
