 DigitalJ also known as Jordy van Oene, born on 8 September 1990 in Haarlem, The Netherlands. His passion for making music started in 2002 when he saw Tiësto playing ‘Traffic’. He thought “I want to do the same thing”. The trance scene was something were Jordy wants to be. He started with buying a sequencer and tried to make the same kind of music what Tiësto did. As first he didn’t know what to do or how it works till he found a community site “eJay” step by step he learned the basic things. Till he switched (2005) to a other sequencer called Fruity Loops. He had to start over again but it was just matter of time till he figured out how the program works. “It’s really cool to see people enjoying your music and I like to show people my style. Music is now a important thing in my life. it makes me feel good and helps me in hard times. Making music is a hobby I started on my 12th, but it turns slowly into work. ” |
