Born in the small town of Nuneaton, UK, and starting at the age of 8, Matt taught himself Keyboard and Piano, working his way through the keys one by one, learning chords by ear and making his own melodies and sounds. Brought up in the UK by his family during the peak of trance music, the young, impressionable Matt was surrounded by electronic music of all genres including house, electro, and trance and encouraged by his parents in both musical taste and musical ability.

By the age of 12, Matt had his own basic music production system, fluent keyboard skills and a noticeable ear for music, he would spend most of his time teaching himself music theory and singing techniques the best way he knows how, by doing it. From the ages 14 to 16 Matt was busy upgrading his music studio with money from his paper-route, and arranging collaborations between himself and his schools best singers in order to gain more experience.

At the age of 16, Matt finished his first album entitled 'Music is life, live life to the full' under the name 'DJ Sea', Released (by himself) worldwide via iTunes and most popular online music stores. The album was an instant hit; being featured in track lists and supported by trance fans worldwide, to this date 'Music is life' is still his best selling album. At the age of 17, he changed his producer name to EverLight, and finished his albums 'Never Dark' and 'Visions in sound'

Now, at the age of 19, his ongoing studies into graphic design and his thirst for widespread musical recognition have brought him to the UK's second largest city, Birmingham, where he attends lectures at Birmingham City University by day, and works his way through the ranks of the vivid club scene by night. Matt has 4 releases with Andromeda Recordings (making a total of 20 original tracks), his own radio show called 'Illumination' on www.odu.fm, support from many DJs, as well as ranking high in Andromeda Recordings best selling artists.
