 Question I get asked the most: What does Germanica mean? - My father is an American, but I was raised by my mother who to this day is a German citizen, so I wanted something that showed the diversity of my cultural background and chose "Germanica" My love of music began very early in life. I have always loved to sing and just enjoy almost every aspect of music. I began playing around, producing if you will, at about 15 but it was not until I was 26 that I would submit anything for release. My first big release, If This Is Love, is slightly over a year old now and still going strong. I am never really sure what to write in bios. I am still really suprised by all of this and am not sure what people really want to know about me :) I currently am signed to Andromeda Recordings out of Chicago and have to shows on the Overdrive Underground at www.odu.fm. The first is my montly mix set called "Midnight Mix Sessions." If you really enjoy dance music and for some reason can't get out to the club on a Saturday night, this is the show for you. An hour long of hot dance hits with the occasional old favorite. |
